This is a teaching video that guides you through an unusually effective breathing technique to help you quickly settle your emotions and calm yourself, even during episodes of high anxiety.
It involves three slow movement segments that enable very deep, full breaths and, over time, as you do it, you will find that your lung capacity expands.(Take note athletes, singers, asthmatics…)
So many of our techniques involve breathing as a way to quickly regulate our body/mind and this one takes your breathing to another, fuller, level which works to enhance the other simpler, more accessible breathing methods.
It works as a stand alone technique and also as a great enabler exercise, getting you into a serene state that can make subsequent relaxation exercises even more effective.
